NEW BEGINNINGS, OUT WITH OLD MISTAKES

Welcome to my Medium. Thank you for joining me on my new journey. The purpose of this project is to help me build up a portfolio to get my foot in the door for the career I want to pursue. I describe this project as becoming an advocate for better working environments, cultures and treatment for all employees across the board. I intend on becoming a mindful promoter of healthy perspectives. I believe it is the given right that all people have the access to the tools they need to develop a career. Everyone should be able to attain valuable employment without having to experience the burden of toxic outdated ideologies that capitalism forces workplaces to perpetuate at the detriment of the humble worker. Working alongside local communities with real people I intend to inspire others to reach their full potential, follow their career dreams and build a life based on the positive attributes having stable employment can have on an individual. Step by step I aim to work alongside my community, with local employment services to create a sense of pride in our neighborhoods, and for local employers to instill the value that everyone is better off in work. To achieve this we need to understand that in order for people to reach their full potential, employers must improve the working conditions, treatment, cultures of their institutions to encourage the workforce that employment should be a place of material, spiritual and physical abundance. In other words its time that society changed their whole concept of employment to embrace new beginnings and be out with old mistakes.
